Dated October 29, 2018 1. Supervise, monitor, inspect, and maintain highways to ensure they are in good condition and usable throughout the year. 2. Regarding safety, ensure convenience and safety for highway users during travel and transportation. 3. Respond efficiently to the needs of the public in all aspects, including: 3.1 Safety aspects, including traffic lane markings, traffic signs, lighting, traffic signals, guardrails, highway rest areas, and pedestrian overpasses. 3.2 Information and public services, including receiving complaints and grievances, answering inquiries regarding road work, and public relations. 3.3 Law enforcement, controlling the use of highways in accordance with the Highway Act B.E. 2535 (1992), including prohibiting encroachment on highway right-of-way, prohibiting littering, etc.
